Channel Counselling has evolved from a culmination of 20 years of personal and professional experience supporting people to reach their optimal best.

I am here to share my knowledge and wisdom and the belief that everyone has the ability to gain a new perspective on how they view their situation and those around them.

In 2008 my journey into helping others in a professional capacity began. After graduating with a Diploma of Counselling and Diploma of Community Services Work, this opened the door way into a rewarding career.

I have worked in a variety of roles that included supporting clients mainly with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders in residential settings.  The importance of a compassionate approach that considered the whole person was fundamental in building confidence, encouraging independence and engaging in meaningful activities that gave a sense of purpose for a fulfilling life.

The understanding of treating the holistic self made it clear that positive changes were possible.  However, I felt that there was something missing and was lead into the world of how natural healing can be used as a complementary tool.

In 2017 I discovered the powerful benefits of energy work and went on to complete my Reiki Practitioners and Master Teacher Training to help my clients heal from troubling emotions and trauma.
